Kai Adventures
Today Kai was sitting out on the porch with my wife and daughter when a hispanic family in our neighborhood arrived home from their church services. My daughter commented that she thought this family attended a different church than our family. Kai, who you will recall from my April 14, 2008 post, is presently convinced that he is Spanish, spoke up with matter of fact authority and said, "Yeah, they believe in the Spanish Jesus."

Kai Adventures
Tonight we were talking during dinner and I asked Kai what he wants to be when he grows up. He thought for a moment and replied, "I usually want to be a dad, but I think I want to be a prophet." Trying not to laugh, I pressed for details. He paused, thought some more and said, "Actually, I want to be a dad, then a garbage man, then a firefighter, then a prophet, and then a grandpa."
